Tune into Logo TV (Channel 542 on Oceanic – Hawaii) tomorrow at 4 p.m. HST to watch as Jacqueline Brooks’s dream vacation unfolds at Travaasa Hana on the documentary show Operation: Vacation. The television show follows vacationers on the trip of a lifetime as they discover a new destination, relax in luxury accommodations and try exciting new adventures. For those in non-local markets, please check your local listings for more information on when to watch.
Tomorrow’s episode will honor Jacqueline Brooks, a loving mother who has opened her home to more than 100 foster children over the years. Because her troubled foster kids needed constant attention, she never had the chance to take off on a relaxing vacation – or even go a date night with her husband. She even won a free vacation a few years ago, but passed on the opportunity because she couldn’t afford to take her kids along with her. Now that all of her children are grown up and her house is empty, her family and friends think it’s time she takes the vacation she deserves.
Watch as Jackie and her husband experience the laid-back Hana lifestyle and enjoy horseback riding, throw net fishing, live Hawaiian music, a couples massage and much more, finally getting the romantic vacation that has long eluded them.
