Come experience a bite-sized piece of the beautiful Austin Hill Country by exploring our lower loop cross-country mountain bike trail.
Travaasa Austin is taking its bike program to the next level. Last year we unveiled our very own Pump Track and now we have another way for riders to experience biking through Hill Country – this time off the beaten path. Mountain Bike 2.0 is being offered to guests in Austin looking for an adventure with a challenge! Escape into nature and ride at your desired pace while taking in Austin’s scenic views and the fresh Texas air.
The mountain bike loop, located below the pump track near the archery course, is exactly one mile long and has been built to accommodate intermediate to advanced technical riders.
Our experts not only guide you along the trail, but we ensure you are ready to roll before the wheels hit the ground. You will be properly sized to one of the high-quality Hardtail mountain bikes within our fleet. We provide all equipment necessary–helmets, gloves and optional knee and elbow pads–and will check for proper fit before you ride. However, you do need to bring appropriate bicycle apparel or can ask us for recommendations for purchasing some locally. We have high-quality flat pedals that work with regular tennis shoes. If you prefer clip-less pedals, bring your own pedals and shoes, and we can easily swap yours onto the right sized bike. Additionally, anyone is more than welcome to bring his/her own mountain bike to shred up the trails.
