The dawning of a new year gives us all the opportunity to refresh ourselves. Here are a few simple tips that will help you start things off on the right foot.
To Move Forward, Look Back. Take some time to take stock of the year behind you. What were your biggest successes? What were your biggest failures? What would you change if you could? Don’t live in the past. Learn from it.
Get Organized. Cut out the clutter! Spend the first few weeks of the new year filing (or just getting rid of) all those piles of paperwork. Try to clean out your email inbox – it feels so good when you make it to “inbox zero.” De-cluttering leaves room for the things that really matter.
Make A Change. Whether it’s as simple as rearranging the furniture in your living room or as extreme as switching careers, a change will bring a new perspective and a little (or a lot of) fresh air into whatever you do in the next 12 months.
Plan Ahead. Focus on the future and make some specific goals. These don’t have to be massive projects by any means – though feel free to think big if you want to. But having clear and attainable accomplishments in front of you will give you a roadmap for 2015.
Relax, Renew and Rejuvenate. The New Year is a great time to detox your body.
